  1. A fairly cryptic trailer, leaving a lot unsaid. Although the intent seems pretty clear with the mention of Bridges’ 4 Oscar nominations and the fact that this is apparently the performance of a lifetime. Hey, if there’s an Oscar buzz around Jeff Bridges, I’m all for it. Can I assume he’ll be chanelling Kris Kristofferson throughout the film?

    • Nobody heard of this film until maybe a month ago. There is Oscar buzz with Jeff beating out Colin Firth for Best Actor. Yes, I think he is channeling Kris here.

  2. I find the timing interesting as I’m currently compiling a list of Jeff’s best roles. Maybe I’ll have to hold off on my decision if the hype is to be believed. I keep thinking of King of California – hopefully Bridges will be more successful than Michael Douglas was.

  3. This looks superb in my opinion. The song that plays throughout the trailer is beautiful and this role seems like it was tailor made for Jeff Bridges.
