Mallrats (1995)

After a sleepiness night, I caught Kevin Smith’s “Mallrats” at dawn. I’m a newbie to Kevin Smith’s films, except for “Dogma.” I love that film.

“Mallrats” tells the story of recently heartbroken T.S. (Jeremy London) and Brodie (Jason Lee) retreating from their loss at the local mall. While there, they meets some eccentric characters like the guy trying to find the sailboat in a picture from a “Magic Eye” stand, the Lolita-esque girl screwing guys from 16-30 for a book or Jay and Silent Bob.

A classic moment “the stink palm.”
